This site is designed to keep the Tipp City amateur radio operators up to date on the happenings in our area.  The intent is to let visitors and non-hams learn more about amateur radio and the role it plays in local communities.  This site also introduces how amateur radio helps in emergency situations, and also community services, such as the Tipp City Mum Festival, Troy Strawberry Festival, various bike tours, and biathlons and triathlons that take place in Miami County.

The Tipp City amateurs also participate in amateur radio-related special events, with the next event being the 2008 Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL)-sponsored Field Day event.  For more information on the Tipp City Field Day, see the Field Day page.

Digital radio is an additional segment of amateur radio.  There are many, many other aspects to the amateur radio hobby that will be addressed on this web site in the future.
